Lead Time Guide – Fusion Wood Creations
Every piece we create is handmade to order, using carefully selected timber and premium-grade epoxy resin. Because each commission is bespoke, lead times can vary depending on the size and complexity of your piece. Below is a general guide to help you plan your order:
1. Initial Consultation & Design Approval
Timeframe: 1–2 weeks
Discuss your requirements, style preferences, and dimensions.
Share wood and resin options, colours, and finishes.
Provide a detailed quote.
Final design sign-off required before work begins.
2. Timber Selection & Preparation
Timeframe: 1–2 weeks
Carefully source and prepare sustainably sourced wood.
Allow timber to acclimatise and stabilise before work begins.
3. Epoxy Resin Pouring & Curing
Timeframe: 2–4 weeks
Multiple pours may be required depending on the design.
Each layer must fully cure to ensure strength and clarity .If multiple layers are required each layer must cure to a minimum of B-stage before the next layer is poured.
Premium, UV-stable, food-safe epoxy is used throughout.
4. Finishing & Assembly
Timeframe: 2–3 weeks
Sanding and polishing to achieve a flawless, crystal-clear finish.
Apply protective oils/seals to the wood.
Fit bases, legs, or additional features (e.g., inlays).

✨ At Fusion Wood Creations, we believe that quality craftsmanship takes time. Each table is built to last for generations — a true investment in functional art.
* When resin hardens, it goes through three main stages: A, B, and C.
In the A-stage, the resin is still a runny liquid that can be poured and worked with.
In the B-stage, the resin has started to harden but isn't fully solid yet. At this point it's usually sticky, rubbery, or semi-solid. It can still be softened with heat and shaped, which makes it useful for working into molds before the final cure.
In the C-stage, the resin is fully hardened into a strong, solid plastic that won't melt or soften.
So, the B-stage is like the halfway point: the resin isn't liquid anymore, but it's not rock-hard either — it's tacky and workable, which makes it a really important stage when doing multiple pours.
